Russia has declared its willingness to assist in resolving the ongoing conflict with Iran by engaging in dialogues with regional leaders, according to Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov.
President Putin is actively facilitating these communications, signaling Russia's readiness to support any peacekeeping measures required to transition the military situation towards a peaceful resolution, Peskov informed the press.
This announcement follows U.S. President Donald Trump's national address regarding the Iran war and his suggestion of a potential U.S. exit from NATO, which Russia perceives as a threatening alliance.
