In the midst of West Asia's escalating conflict, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan's commitment to diplomatic resolution and peace efforts. Leaders including Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir and key ministers attended a high-level meeting to discuss strategies.
Shehbaz expressed sorrow over the loss of lives, highlighting Pakistan's diplomatic activities aimed at conflict de-escalation. The Prime Minister praised Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Munir's roles in facilitating peaceful negotiations and easing transits for ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
Despite the conflict's economic toll, Shehbaz assured ongoing government support with a Rs129 billion financial package to sustain key sectors. Pakistan remains poised to host and facilitate dialogue between global powers to achieve a lasting resolution in the region.
