Accompanied by AINRC leader Chief Minister N Rangasamy and Home Minister A Namassivayam, Modi traversed a route marked by enthusiastic crowds and vibrant party banners.
After arriving to a fervent welcome from BJP supporters, the Prime Minister was celebrated with chants and floral tributes as he waved to bystanders from his campaign vehicle. The roadshow, which spanned around 2 kilometers and took nearly an hour, was enriched by cultural and traditional dance performances.
Security was tight due to the high-profile visit, while local leaders expressed optimism about the electoral boost from Modi's presence. The AINRC-BJP alliance, bolstered by a shared agenda, targets 26 legislative seats, with allied parties AIADMK and Latchiya Jananayaga Katchi contesting two seats each.
