In a heartfelt appeal, the parents of Jerin George, a resident of Haripad, have called upon authorities to assist in bringing their son back home. George finds himself stranded on an Iranian vessel amid the ongoing West Asian conflict, unable to return to his family.
George left home eight months ago to work on the ship, expecting to return by early March. However, the outbreak of war in February rerouted his journey, causing the ship to return to Iran. Desperate to see their son again, his parents have reached out to political figures for aid.
Communication with George has been limited due to the scarcity of resources onboard, leaving his family anxious. “We just want him back home,” his mother expressed emotionally, highlighting the urgency of the situation.
