The meeting took place at the Prime Minister's House, with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir also in attendance. While the primary focus was regional situations, Araghchi's discussions extended to crucial peace dialogues.

Earlier engagements included separate meetings with Asim Munir and Ishaq Dar. The Iranian minister's trip to Islamabad, Muscat, and Moscow is aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and addressing regional developments, with no confirmed talks with the US during this visit.
