President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a significant five-day visit to Himachal Pradesh starting Monday. According to her office, her stay will involve a mix of official engagements and cultural interactions.
During the visit, President Murmu will reside at the historic Rashtrapati Niwas in Mashobra, providing her with a scenic base for her activities. Key highlights of her itinerary include attending a banquet hosted by the Himachal Pradesh governor on April 28 at Lok Bhavan, Shimla, and visiting the Atal Tunnel the following day.
On April 30, the President will grace the convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya in Palampur. The day's events also include hosting an 'At Home' reception. Her visit concludes on May 1 with the President's tour of the Army Training Command in Shimla before returning to Delhi.
