In a scathing critique of the Centre's foreign policy, Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department Minister Vikramaditya Singh has voiced grave concerns regarding India's economic independence and sovereignty.
He alleged that recent decisions, influenced by external pressures, have led to accepting steep tariffs and reducing oil imports from traditional partners like Russia and Iran, affecting fuel prices and economic conditions domestically.
Despite his strong remarks, Singh assured continued state cooperation with the Centre for developmental projects, emphasizing that such collaboration must not undermine national interests.
