European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Wednesday that she had a 'very good exchange' with Hungarian election winner Peter Magyar during talks in Brussels, during which they discussed the unlocking of EU funds for Hungary.
"A very good exchange with Peter Magyar in Brussels today. We discussed the steps necessary to unlock EU funds earmarked for Hungary, that are frozen due to corruption and rule of law concerns," wrote von der Leyen on X.
