On Friday, senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari leveled serious accusations against West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, criticizing her actions as 'dramabazi' following her visit to a vote counting center.
Speaking at the BJP election office in Bhabanipur, Adhikari stated that Banerjee's efforts are futile and will not alter the election outcome. He emphasized that the changing political landscape in the region is undeniable, asserting a BJP government is forthcoming.
Banerjee's presence at the counting center, amid allegations of EVM tampering, heightened tensions and led to confrontations between BJP and TMC supporters.
