Kunal Ghosh, a senior TMC leader, has predicted that the BJP will win no more than 78 seats in the upcoming West Bengal elections. Ghosh claimed, based on information from credible sources, that some political leaders believe the BJP's chances are low despite their efforts to assert power.
According to Ghosh, the BJP, aware they won't surpass 100 seats is allegedly provoking unrest in areas such as Falta. Ghosh assured that TMC would not encourage post-poll violence, despite BJP leaders' inflammatory remarks, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah's alleged provocative comments.
BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Rahul Sinha dismissed Ghosh's assertions as false, suggesting they are attempts by TMC to lift the spirits of party supporters facing expected defeat. Sinha emphasized BJP's confidence in winning a majority in the elections scheduled for May 4.
