The Election Commission has deployed an impressive team of 432 counting observers across all 294 assembly constituencies in West Bengal to guarantee impartial and efficient vote counting this Monday.

The poll panel has identified several districts as sensitive, assigning them additional observers to maintain strict oversight. North 24 Parganas alone features 49 observers for its 33 constituencies, reflecting the heightened monitoring arrangements in place.

Meanwhile, enforcement agencies have seized illegal cash, liquor, and other items worth Rs 561 crore, showcasing a united front in curbing election malpractice and reinforcing the commitment to conducting free and fair polls.
