Moloy Ghatak Leads Strong in Asansol Uttar
West Bengal minister Moloy Ghatak held a significant lead over his BJP rival Krishnendu Mukherjee in the Asansol Uttar constituency, as per the Election Commission's report. Ghatak secured 59,916 votes against Mukherjee's 43,391 after seven rounds of counting, with the CPI's Akhilesh Kumar Singh trailing distantly in third.

Leading the political race in West Bengal's Asansol Uttar constituency, TMC stalwart and state labour minister Moloy Ghatak holds a strong lead.
The Election Commission revealed that Ghatak has amassed 59,916 votes. His nearest competitor, BJP's Krishnendu Mukherjee, has garnered 43,391 votes.
Meanwhile, CPI candidate Akhilesh Kumar Singh trails significantly with only 2,198 votes.
