The BJP showcased a strong statewide performance in the West Bengal Assembly polls, with several heavyweight candidates achieving significant wins. Notably, Dilip Ghosh returned to the Assembly from Kharagpur Sadar, affirming his political relevance. Suvendu Adhikari also triumphed in Nandigram but has yet to conclude his fight against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Bhabanipur.

In a politically charged development, a BJP candidate, the mother of an RG Kar hospital victim, gained a decisive lead in Panihati, capitalizing on public sentiment. Actor-turned-politician Rudranil Ghosh and other celebrity candidates also secured wins, contributing to the party's electoral success in key districts.

However, the BJP faced notable losses in urban areas. Rakesh Singh was defeated in Kolkata Port by TMC’s Firhad Hakim, while Priyanka Tibrewal fell short in Entally. Despite these setbacks, the party’s performance across 293 constituencies reflects a mixed yet impactful result.
