Prominent figures such as former junior sports minister Manoj Tewari have publicly blamed senior party members for the TMC's faltering performance.
Tewari, who was notably denied a party ticket for the 2026 elections, accused senior minister Aroop Biswas of obstructing developmental projects due to personal insecurities. He detailed how his efforts to establish a sports hub in Howrah were thwarted, hinting at internal politics affecting governance and development.
Meanwhile, TMC spokesperson Riju Dutta and actor-MP Dev have stressed the need for accountability and cultural unity as the BJP assumes power.
