On Thursday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini commemorated the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, highlighting the exceptional bravery and determination shown by the Indian soldiers.
Launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, Operation Sindoor saw decisive airstrikes against nine terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir beginning on May 7 last year.
The military operation escalated into heightened border tensions, which were subsequently resolved with diplomatic dialogue through an army hotline, concluding the hostilities by May 10.
