Amidst political uncertainty, BJP spokesperson Narayanan Tirupathy expressed confidence that the Tamil Nadu governor will follow constitutional protocols in forming the government. Despite no party gaining a clear majority, Tirupathy assured democratic proceedings, emphasizing the possibility of forming a coalition for stability.
Speaking to PTI, Tirupathy dismissed any alleged confusion with the Raj Bhavan, asserting that the governor would adhere strictly to the rule book and constitutional guidelines. The BJP leader noted that the unique voter outcome necessitates careful consideration of the next steps.
He further highlighted that, since no party secured the required seats for absolute control, the focus is on parties forming alliances to support Vijay for a stable Tamil Nadu administration. This delay reflects the intricate nature of coalition politics, he added.
