West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is heading to Assam to take part in the oath-taking ceremony for the BJP-led NDA government. The event marks the installation of Himanta Biswa Sarma as Chief Minister for a second consecutive term.
Among those attending the ceremony are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several Union ministers, and chief ministers from NDA-ruled states, along with various industrialists and dignitaries, highlighting the importance of the occasion.
Adhikari, who campaigned extensively for the BJP in West Bengal, will return to Kolkata the same evening.
