Veteran political strategist N Rangasamy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Puducherry for an unprecedented fifth time. Witnessed by BJP leaders, the memorable ceremony saw Rangasamy pledging in the name of God.

Alongside him, Malladi Krishan Rao and A Namassivayam also took oaths as ministers in the AINRC-led coalition government. Lt Governor K Kailashnathan administered the oaths, marking a new chapter for the region's leadership.

The NDA secured victory in the recent elections, ensuring Rangasamy's continuation in office. President Droupadi Murmu confirmed his appointment, adding to the legitimacy of this political transition in Puducherry.
