Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his diplomatic journey on Friday with an official visit to the UAE, setting the stage for an extensive five-nation tour. Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, Modi was welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and honored with a guard of honour, signifying the importance of the visit.
During his UAE visit, Modi is slated to focus on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and the UAE. Discussions are anticipated to center around energy security, especially in light of the increasing volatility in West Asia and its implications for vital trade routes and oil supplies.
This visit marks the first leg of Modi's ambitious tour, which will also see him visiting the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, aiming to bolster diplomatic ties and strategically navigate global challenges with allied nations.
