Government's Pledge to Foster Northeast Progress

During her visit to Mizoram's Khawzawl district, she inspected projects, chaired meetings, and stressed the need for public awareness and community outreach for broader scheme access.

Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, has reiterated the Modi government's unwavering commitment to the development of the Northeast. According to an official statement, Bambhaniya's visit to Khawzawl district in Mizoram underscored this priority.

During her visit, Bambhaniya emphasized the importance of inclusive development, aiming to progress every village, region, and citizen, particularly in the Northeast. She spotlighted key areas such as infrastructure development and effective welfare delivery to the grassroots.

As part of her itinerary, Bambhaniya reviewed numerous ongoing projects and initiatives, chaired a meeting with district officials, and discussed enhancing public awareness to ensure broader access to governmental schemes by eligible beneficiaries.
