Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi issued a stern warning to Pakistan, urging the nation to choose between becoming part of geography or fading into history if it continues to harbor terrorists against India.
Speaking at an interactive session called 'Uniform Unveiled' at the Manekshaw Centre, Gen Dwivedi's comments came as India marked the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor. The operation was launched on May 7, last year, in response to a deadly terror attack in Pahalgam.
The precision strikes by Indian forces targeted terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, leading to a brief military conflict lasting 88 hours until a ceasefire was reached on May 10.
