Appeal for Release: Engineer Rashid's Father's Demise

Haji Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, the father of jailed Baramulla MP Sheikh Abdul Rashid, popularly known as Engineer Rashid, passed away at a Delhi hospital on Monday. He was 85 years old.
Inam Un Nabi, the chief spokesperson for the Awami Itihaad Party (AIP), confirmed the death and made a passionate plea to the Government of India. He requested immediate action to facilitate the release of Rashid to allow him to attend his father's funeral.
Highlighting the profound emotional distress faced by Rashid, Nabi emphasized, "No pain can be greater than a son being deprived of bidding a final farewell to his own father."
