Turkish minister says court removed opposition leader for irregularities in congress 

​Turkey's ​Justice Minister Akin ‌Gurlek said ​on Thursday that ‌a court ruling that removed main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) ‌chairman was made due to ‌irregularities in the party's 2023 congress. A state ⁠governed by the rule ⁠of ​law is one that seriously considers and ⁠evaluates allegations," Gurlek said in a ⁠press ⁠conference after the court ruling.
