The Jharkhand Congress on Sunday organised a statewide 'complaint and redressal' programme aimed at strengthening the organisation by making it more accountable and responsive to party workers.
The initiative was held across all district headquarters, where Congress workers, office bearers and party members were invited to submit written complaints and grievances related to their representation and functioning within the organisation.
State Congress media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said the complaints collected during the daylong exercise would be forwarded to the party's state headquarters in Ranchi for review by the state president.
''The state president will personally look into the grievances and ensure that appropriate steps are taken for their redressal,'' he said.
Sinha described the initiative as an important step towards building a stronger, more transparent and worker-friendly organisation.
''Strengthening organisational discipline, promoting mutual dialogue and upholding democratic traditions remain the party's top priorities,'' he said.
Sinha asserted that authoritarianism had no place in the Congress party.
''In Congress, the voices of workers are heard, and their dignity is protected,'' he added.
