BJP President Nitin Nabin accused the Congress government in Karnataka of betraying young people's aspirations, citing excessive corruption and poor governance under its administration.

Accusing the Congress government in Karnataka of ''betraying'' the aspirations of young people, BJP President Nitin Nabin on Monday said the grand old party completely lacks a vision for the future and potential of India's youth.

He also claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is reaching new milestones in the fields of semiconductors, startups, digital innovation, and skill development.

''The Congress government in Karnataka has betrayed the aspirations of young people,'' Nabin was quoted as saying at the 'Interaction with Young Minds' programme, by BJP in a release.

According to him, the excessive corruption and poor governance under the Congress administration exposed the party's complete lack of vision regarding the future and potential of India's youth.

At the event, the BJP President discussed the role of youth and the importance of youth leadership in realising the vision of a developed India.

Claiming that India is reaching new milestones in the fields of semiconductors, startups, digital innovation, and skill development under the leadership of PM Modi, Nabin said, ''Through this, unprecedented opportunities are being created for the country's youth.''.

Karnataka BJP President B Y Vijayendra, BJP Yuva Morcha National President and MP Tejasvi Surya, among others were present at the event.
