Tamil Nadu Chief Minister forgoes meeting with Congress leaders in Delhi
Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, is not expected to meet with top Congress leaders in Delhi, according to party sources. Instead, his itinerary includes a return flight to Chennai, following previous discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over key state issues.

Sources within the party have revealed that Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, will not be holding meetings with Congress leaders Sonia and Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Delhi. No official engagements have been slated with them.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to conclude his Delhi visit, departing on a special flight back to Chennai. According to airport sources, Vijay's return flight will depart New Delhi at 10 am, with an expected arrival in Chennai around 12:40 pm. Earlier, on May 27, Vijay had discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing state-specific concerns such as the Mekedatu dam, issues related to fishermen detention, and controversies surrounding the Tamil invocation song.
