A legislator from Nepal's Rastriya Swatantra Party has made headlines by reaching the summit of Mount Everest and showcasing the emblem of the nation's Federal Parliament. This remarkable achievement was completed by Mingma David Sherpa, who shared his accomplishment on social media.
Sherpa, a member of the House of Representatives, accomplished this feat on Wednesday at 5:40 AM, as noted in his social media update. His ascent, which took nine days, was conducted under the theme "From Parliament to Peak." In doing so, he expressed appreciation for the backing provided by supporters such as Parliament Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal. Sherpa secured his parliamentary seat in the March 5 general election.
