In a significant move reflecting international diplomacy, Israel has momentarily paused its planned strikes on Iran, following a request from U.S. President Donald Trump. This pause highlights the strategic collaboration between the two nations amidst rising tensions in the region.
A senior Israeli official, quoted by Channel 12, stated that the halt is contingent on the current situation remaining stable. However, the official warned that if Hezbollah's assaults on Israeli towns continue, Israel will target the southern suburbs of Beirut as a countermeasure.
