India celebrates a dozen years under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a period hailed for transformative growth and the emergence of India as an aspirational nation. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw underscores a shift toward citizen-centric governance, setting sights on Viksit Bharat by 2047.

Speaking to ANI, Vaishnaw highlighted grassroots changes: from toilet constructions enhancing dignity to the opening of over 54 crore Jan Dhan accounts, offering financial inclusivity. He pointed to the improvement in rural infrastructure and housing, all driving toward elevated living standards and a developed nation status by 2047.

The minister outlined four pillars of growth: investment in infrastructure, inclusive growth, a push for manufacturing and innovation, and legal simplification. Success in electronics manufacturing is notable, with exports of mobile phones surging, creating jobs and positioning India as a key global player in electronic goods. The focus on self-reliance and innovation marks India's confident global stride under Modi's leadership.
