Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Member of Parliament Misa Bharti has voiced her outrage against the Bihar government's recent actions concerning her parents, former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. Bharti condemned the withdrawal of their security detail and the eviction notice from their residence, alleging these moves are politically motivated distractions from pressing issues like unemployment and inflation.

Rabri Devi and Lalu Prasad Yadav's Z-plus security cover was downgraded, prompting them to dismiss remaining personnel stationed at their 10 Circular Road residence in Patna. The government's decision came amid its request for Rabri Devi to vacate the premises, now allotted to Bihar Minister Nand Kishore Ram, despite having an alternative accommodation option.

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, in contrast, lambasted the tendency of former officials to treat government properties as personal estates. He argued that official residences should be relinquished promptly after a tenure concludes, noting that he vacated his own official residence within 24 hours of his term ending.
