Thailand ​wants ‌peace and stability ​in Myanmar as part ‌of ASEAN's peace plan and is not abandoning regional ‌concerns about the country, ‌Thailand's foreign minister said on Thursday.

Thailand hopes that an ⁠ASEAN ​special ⁠envoy can meet detained former leader ⁠Aung San Suu Kyi, ​Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow told ⁠reporters, adding that Myanmar ⁠has ​to respond to Bangkok's concerns about the ⁠civil war there.
