Former Union Minister Vimla Verma passes away

Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Vimla Verma (90) has died fighting long illness. She was also an MP from the Seoni constituency in Madhya Pradesh.

Vimla Verma was popularly known as "didi" and "bua ji" and was a social worker as well.

Vimla was also conferred with Vidhan Kirti award by Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for being the most distinguished legislator and for significant contribution to the legislative business of the House.
