Bonefish Grill calls to join global movement to help save coral reefs
Climate change and other threats have had a devastating impact on reefs around the world.
Bonefish Grill is calling nature's supporter to help save coral reefs. The message reads:
Coral reefs are dying before our very eyes. Climate change and other threats have had a devastating impact on reefs around the world, putting the web of life they support in serious danger.
"That's why I'm calling on you to join in on a global movement to help save coral reefs and threatened habitats. For every dollar you contribute right now, Bonefish Grill will contribute $5 to help support The Nature Conservancy's coral restoration efforts across Florida and the Caribbean, up to $100,000."
"Each reef faces unique threats. No one solution can save them all. That's why we're using a range of approaches to protect these irreplaceable ecosystems — from improving local enforcement of environmental protections to conducting research on new risks to preventing land-based pollutants and erosion. Without proper protection, reef ecosystems succumb to invasive species, acidification, and pollution."
"But The Nature Conservancy has the science and expertise to reverse the damage, and with your help, we can restore the health of our oceans, and so much more."
"For every coral reef we save, there are dozens more that are still threatened — and that could mean we lose them forever. Join the fight to protect coral reefs and all of nature's wonders — there's no time to waste."
"For every dollar you give today, Bonefish Grill will contribute $5 to help support The Nature Conservancy's coral restoration efforts across Florida and the Caribbean, up to $100,000. "
