Infant Tragically Dies after TV Set Falls on Him in Kochi

A one-and-a-half-year-old child named Abdul Samad tragically died in Muvattupuzha, near Kochi, after a television set fell on him on Monday night. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred at the family's home when the child touched the TV stand.

In a heartbreaking incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old infant named Abdul Samad lost his life when a television set fell on him in Muvattupuzha, near Kochi.

The child was rushed to the hospital on Monday night but sadly succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Tuesday morning. According to local police, the incident took place at the family's home around 9.30 pm when the toddler touched the TV stand, causing both the stand and the television to collapse on him, resulting in fatal injuries.

Abdul Samad was the son of Anas, a resident of Payipra, the police confirmed.
