Delhi Minister Atishi has directed officials to tackle the overflow problem of a central Delhi drain exacerbated by heavy rainfall.

The issue arose after an unprecedented 228 mm rainfall on June 28, leading to severe waterlogging in adjacent areas.

During an inspection with senior officials and Mayor Shelly Oberoi, Atishi stressed the importance of identifying both immediate and long-term remedies to this recurring problem.
