Rain Relief in Delhi: Temperature Takes a Dip

Rain hit parts of Delhi on Wednesday afternoon, with temperatures dropping to 29.8 degrees Celsius. The IMD forecasted further light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms and lightning. Humidity reached 77% by morning, and the day's highest temperature is expected to be around 38 degrees Celsius.

Rain lashed parts of the national capital on Wednesday afternoon, bringing some relief as the minimum temperature fell to 29.8 degrees Celsius, over two notches above the season's normal.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that many parts of Delhi will receive light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning through the day.

Areas in Central and East Delhi witnessed light rains. By 8.30 am, the humidity level had climbed to 77 per cent. Despite the rainfall, the maximum temperature is likely to settle around 38 degrees Celsius.
