Signify, in partnership with BharatCares and the Uttar Pradesh Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, has launched the 'Har Gaon Roshan' initiative, aimed at illuminating rural and forest villages with energy-efficient LED street lighting solutions.

The project will initially benefit 45 villages around Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, where 750 high-quality LED streetlights will be installed. This effort is in line with Signify's broader #BrighterLivesBetterWorld vision, which seeks to improve the quality of life, enhance safety, and support rural development.

'This collaboration goes beyond just illumination,' said Nikhil Gupta, Head of CSR at Signify. 'It empowers communities with light, contributing to a brighter and safer future.' Bhomik Shah, Managing Trustee at BharatCares, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of reliable lighting for socio-economic progress in underserved regions.
