Environment Minister Launches 'Ideas4LiFE Ideathon' to Promote Green Lifestyles

Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav inaugurated the 'Ideas4LiFE Ideathon' at IIT-Delhi, encouraging innovative ideas to promote environmentally friendly lifestyles across seven themes. The initiative supports Prime Minister Modi's vision of sustainable resource utilization. The portal will allow participants to submit ideas online and winners will receive prizes.

Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Monday launched the 'Ideas4LiFE Ideathon', inviting the public to suggest ways to adopt environmentally friendly lifestyles.

During the event at IIT-Delhi, Yadav urged students, research scholars, faculty, and innovators to propose innovative ideas to actualize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of mindful and deliberate resource utilization.

The ideathon focuses on seven themes: Save Water, Save Energy, Reduce Waste, Reduce E-Waste, Say No to Single-Use Plastics, Adopt Sustainable Food Systems, and Adopt Healthy Lifestyles. The portal 'Ideas4Life.nic.in' will collect submissions online, and winning ideas for each theme will receive attractive prizes.
