Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat outlined the project's scope, specifying that detailed project reports have earmarked substantial funds for this initiative. Specifically, Rs 19 lakh has been allocated for both Nawa Kadal and Fateh Kadal bridges.

Furthermore, Rs 9 lakh has been set aside for the Gow Kadal bridge and Rs 29 lakh for the Safa Kadal bridge. Another Rs 11 lakh will be used for the Noor Jahan Bridge at Qamarwari, emphasizing the administration's commitment to preventing further tragedies.
