Heavy Rain Triggers Fatal Accidents in Rajasthan

Heavy rain wreaked havoc in Rajasthan, causing fatal accidents and disruptions in transportation. Five individuals lost their lives due to various incidents, and one person remains missing. Train services were also impacted as water accumulated on tracks. Several districts experienced significant rainfall, notably Tonk and Pali.

Intense rainfall wreaked havoc across Rajasthan, claiming five lives and leaving one person missing, authorities confirmed on Monday.

The MeT department reported that regions such as Tonk, Pali, Bundi, and Bhilwara experienced torrential rain within a span of 24 hours. Water accumulation on railway tracks significantly disrupted train services.

A factory wall collapse in Jodhpur buried thirteen workers, killing three instantly. Incidents also included a bike rider in Pali being swept away by strong currents and a kutcha house collapse in Sojat resulting in a fatality. Additionally, a man took a fatal fall while attempting a selfie at Menal waterfall in Bhilwara.
