Tragic Wall Collapse Claims Two Lives in Kalbadevi

Two people died and one was injured in a compound wall collapse in Mumbai's Kalbadevi area. The incident occurred at the Gandhi building, where the 30-foot wall fell between two structures. The victims were taken to GT Hospital, with two pronounced dead and one in stable condition.

In a tragic incident, two lives were lost and a youngster was injured when a compound wall collapsed at Kalbadevi in south Mumbai on Monday evening. Civic officials confirmed the unfortunate event.

The wall, 30 feet in length and standing 5 to 7 feet tall, gave way in a passage between two structures within the Gandhi building around 5.20 pm. The sudden collapse left three individuals injured.

Rushed to GT Hospital, two victims, both aged 30, were declared 'brought dead' upon arrival, while a third victim, aged 19, received medical treatment and is reported to be in stable condition. A search and rescue operation by the Mumbai Fire Brigade is ongoing to ensure no one remains trapped under the debris, officials added.
