Severe traffic jams were reported in various parts of Delhi, including South, Central, North, New Delhi, as well as adjoining regions like Noida and Gurugram. Commuters faced considerable delays.
The weather department predicts light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. A yellow alert, indicating potentially disruptive weather, has been issued. Humidity levels in the city were recorded at 85 percent, with temperatures expected to peak at 35 degrees Celsius.
