One of the main officials from the company behind the experimental submersible that tragically imploded en route to the Titanic wreck is set to testify before the Coast Guard on Tuesday.

Amber Bay, former director of administration at OceanGate, will be a key witness. OceanGate co-founder Stockton Rush was among the five casualties when the submersible met its fatal end in June 2023.

The Coast Guard commenced a public hearing earlier this month, investigating the implosion's cause, highlighting the company's troubled nature.
