As bus services were impacted, Southern Railway canceled several express trains, including the Chennai Central-Mysuru Kaveri Express due to waterlogging. Chief Minister M K Stalin and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin inspected flood management efforts in the city.
