A tragic incident unfolded in Malad East, Mumbai, on Wednesday night when a man was electrocuted, local authorities reported.
The event occurred at around 11 PM near Triveni Nagar road close to Parekh Garden. The victim, identified as 39-year-old Kamlesh Chandrakant Shitab, encountered a severe electric shock.
After the electrocution, Shitab fell into a 25-foot deep nullah. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital via the 108 ambulance service, but unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival. An investigation into the incident has been initiated by civic officials.
