PLPB and Surbana Jurong Collaborate for Industrial Park in Patiala

PLPB, a renowned real estate and infrastructure development company, has partnered with Singapore's Surbana Jurong to develop the ambitious PLPB IndusPark in Patiala, Punjab. This collaboration was officially sealed in Singapore in a ceremony attended by a real estate delegation from the CII Learning Mission, as announced by PLPB on Tuesday.
PLPB IndusPark, a vast 150-acre greenfield development, will be strategically located near Rajpura in Patiala district. It promises direct access to the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor, enhancing logistics and supply chain efficiencies specifically designed for SMEs and MSMEs. Surbana Jurong is a leader in urban and infrastructure consulting, known for projects like Singapore Changi Airport.
The industrial park aims to attract global investments with its sustainable infrastructure, fostering job creation and industry growth in Punjab. PLPB's CEO, Sumit Singla, expressed excitement over the partnership with Surbana Jurong, viewing it as a pivotal step in Punjab's industrial sector, poised to set up a globally competitive manufacturing hub. This initiative aligns with the central and state government's commitment to innovation and economic development.
