The bench proposed forming a committee of top-ranking officials to strategize a comprehensive roadmap for the area's upkeep.

Issues highlighted in a PIL include infrastructure damage, hygiene problems, and unchecked encroachments. The court insisted that shopkeepers and local communities must partake in preservation efforts. Meanwhile, tourism remains robust, drawing global visitors to Chandni Chowk. The case will resume in April, exploring further measures.
