Delhi's Infrastructure Overhaul: Verma's Vision for the Capital

Delhi's Public Works Development (PwD) Minister, Parvesh Verma, conducted inspections of key infrastructure projects over the weekend, seeking to speed up their development in alignment with city needs, as stated in an official release.

During the thorough inspection, Verma took stock of the progress on the Bhairo Marg-Sarai Kale Khan stretch and the Barapullah Phase-3 flyover, urging for the swift completion of these projects to alleviate traffic congestion.

The minister also highlighted the necessity for quality construction with durability far exceeding the typical five-year lifespan. Additionally, he addressed chronic waterlogging at the Moolchand underpass by overseeing the installation of advanced Japanese pumps. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to prevent flooding during monsoons and align with Prime Minister Modi's vision of a cleaner, greener Delhi.
