Adani Group Wins Bid for Mumbai's Motilal Nagar Redevelopment

Gautam Adani's conglomerate clinched the Rs 36,000 crore contract for redeveloping Motilal Nagar in Mumbai, marking its second major project in the city. The project aims for a holistic transformation, addressing slum and illegal construction issues, while offering modern housing solutions to residents.

Following the ambitious Dharavi Redevelopment Project, Gautam Adani's group emerged as the top bidder for the redevelopment of Motilal Nagar in Mumbai, with a bid of Rs 36,000 crore.

Spanning 143 acres in Goregaon, Motilal Nagar is set for a major facelift aimed at eliminating illegal structures and providing modern housing.

The Mumbai High Court recently approved MHADA to manage the redevelopment through a designated construction agency.
