Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has unveiled ambitious plans to secure Rs 1 lakh crore in investments for Amaravati within the next 45 days. The announcement was made during a seminar at a local university, where Naidu expressed his vision for a sustainable, green-energy-driven future for the newly planned capital city.
To facilitate this goal, Naidu plans to invite Prime Minister Narendra Modi to relaunch crucial infrastructure and development programs in Amaravati. Among the projects slated for execution are road construction valued at Rs 40,000 crore and various building works, which are already progressing. Naidu assured that the investments would be completed over three years and attract top-tier institutions.
Addressing demographic challenges, Naidu shifted gears to focus on population growth. He highlighted the need for a balanced strategy in response to global ageing trends, advocating for increased birth rates. Naidu pledged government support through schemes like Amma Vodi, offering financial incentives for families to have more children, thus fortifying the state's economic future.
